Doctor Divine has been practicing medicine since 2006. Before that, she grew up in Sao Paulo Brazil attending an American Christian school until she graduated high school. She then relocated to Tampa, Florida where she attended The University of Tampa and the University of South Florida to complete her bachelors of science in biology. She continued to Ross University for her Medical Training and then to Boston University Medical School for her residency at Boston Medical Center. She continued on to Harvard Medical School to complete her geriatrics fellowship where she learned to specialize in older adults. Dr. Divine (under her maiden name, Issa) co-authored Medical Management of the Home Care Patient. Guidelines for Physicians 4th Ed (2012).

She has also had experience in other places on the East Coast but none as extensive as her experience working in Florida where she has worked with the greatest diversity to health risk. This includes Tampa General Hospital's Tampa Medical Group which serve many of the medical facilities in the area. Dr. Divine also worked for Lahey Hospital and Hebrew Senior Life as a geriatrician in Massachusetts. She also has experience in other facilities, working with diverse groups of people and medical conditions, with her experience she can definitely impact anyone's life which may be at risk or just looking to improve their health.
